No more item-get jingles, giving you back 7 seconds of your life per item! Samus does not lose momentum when landing after a jump. You also maintain this effect by diagonally jumping back and forth, since Samus can now maintain her momentum after landing from a jump. After reaching a shinesparking state while still running, Samus can maintain the shinespark while spin jumping left or right utilising the Space Jump item. Samus can use the speed booster in Morph Ball form (must have Speed Booster and Spring Ball). The following changes are the hex edits made to the original game: You need to patch a non-headered Super Metroid rom. You will be able to shinespark through all of SB’s shortcuts and secret areas that are hidden just about everywhere you can imagine, without having to short charge. This patch opens the whole of SB’s Zebes for players of all skill levels.

SB brought the GBA’s Zero Mission to Super Metroid, but to truly appreciate SB’s masterpiece, you had to know how to super-short-charge the Speed Booster. Metroid SUPER-SPEED Zero Mission is a faster version of the original romhack by SB, named Metroid Super Zero Mission.
